Deep Dish Dungeon guides

What is Deep Dish Dungeon?

Deep Dish Dungeon combines dungeon exploration, survival preparation and crafting. Developed by Behold Studios and published by Raw Fury, it released on October 13, 2026. The adventure takes place in a hand-crafted dungeon whose routes, puzzles and resources gradually become familiar as you explore.

The basic rhythm is to leave camp, investigate a new route, gather what you can carry, then return to prepare for the next trip. A new ingredient expands your cooking options; a crafted tool can change where you can go. Food and equipment are part of progression rather than activities reserved for the end of an expedition. The official Steam page shows the game and its current PC features.

Learn the dungeon through landmarks and shortcuts

The developer describes a single interconnected dungeon with vertical spaces, recognizable rooms and shortcuts. There is no map or compass: learning how places connect is part of exploration. A distinctive room, a change in lighting or a path seen from another height can help you orient yourself.

Tools and abilities give you reasons to return to earlier locations. A route that seems blocked on one trip can become useful once you have the means to cross it. The developer’s exploration blog explains this approach to navigation.

The environment also carries the story. Ruins, murals, diaries and the remains of previous adventurers’ camps provide clues to the dungeon’s history as you make your way through it.

Build camp, cook and choose what to carry

Camp connects one expedition to the next. Workbenches, Cooking Tables and other equipment turn collected resources into tools and meals. Objects can be moved and passed to teammates, while limited carrying space makes the return journey and the choice of what to bring back meaningful.

Cooking supports health, stamina and some exploration abilities. New ingredients and appliances open further options, and herbs can modify dishes. Before tackling a difficult route, inspect what your available meals actually do and prepare for the obstacle ahead. The official cooking introduction describes how these systems fit together.

Play solo or with two friends

Deep Dish Dungeon supports solo play and three players total in online co-op. Crossplay is supported, according to the official launch FAQ.

Exploration includes enemies, puzzles, melee and ranged weapons, and shields. In a group, gathering supplies, preparing camp and handling obstacles become shared tasks. Each character should also pick up new discoveries when your group is checking recipe unlocks. Our co-op guide covers the player limit, joining, crossplay and save questions.
