Information Broker: all seven tips, prices and uses

How the purchase works

The suspicious Black Market customer sells one actionable tip for a fixed 50 credits. Finish the introduction, then press Buy Information; you cannot choose which category before paying, and ordinary item bargaining does not apply. The normal introduction schedules the first broker on day 14. Repeat visits are counted by customer-generation opportunities, not a fixed seven-day appointment: from the fourth opportunity there is a 25% check, and at seven it is guaranteed when an eligible category exists.

Paying schedules the announced future event and gives a countdown slip. Declining before payment neither charges you nor schedules it. Leaving after payment still completes the event and note; it does not cancel the purchase or duplicate it. Same-event cooldowns remove choices and remaining weights are renormalized. All seven available: weight 100 means about 11.76%,150 means 17.65%. Wording variations do not change a category’s mechanics. The slip counts down and disappears after its date; losing it does not cancel the event.

Use the news before the market changes

Harvest and surplus announcements let you wait for cheaper food, household goods, materials or water supplies. Shortage announcements give time to keep relevant stock for the higher-price period; reserve the rent before buying extra. A medical shortage creates medical demand, a water breakdown brings panic or corporate buyers, a storeroom discovery brings scavenger sellers, and returning miners bring material or ice sellers. These percentages change the market value, not guaranteed profit. The dedicated paid tip can have a different duration from the same event’s ordinary newspaper occurrence. Free information channels

The mentor’s day 7 mining tip is free: tomorrow, one day of materials−25%. Lower Levels 60 also gives a 4% opening-time rumor from a wider ordinary-event pool, normally 2–3 days ahead. The five factions’60-reputation forecasts instead reveal already scheduled operations from that faction, without charging 50 or drawing from these seven tips.
