Lettering Issues
Spelling errors, misaligned text or uneven print quality on the pack, differences in color, font or missing lettering all indicate fraud.
Logo Issues
The genuine logo has mirrored orange-brown curled branches around a dark-red geometric center. The incorrect example has a narrower center with different internal lines. Compare the exact shapes in the original image.
Color Issues
Utilise color card to compare
The original swatches run left to right from light beige through orange-brown and dark red to dark purple-brown. The incorrect example starts with grey-green and ends near black.
Security Seal Issues
Hemingway Cigarettes are never sold without a security seal. If the security seal is missing or broken, the cigarette is a counterfeit.
The differences should be obvious at a glance.
