Plasma Cartridges are the standard fuel of the the Pulse Plasma Drive, a common installation on small-to-medium spacecraft.
A result of high demand and light regulation, Plasma Cartridges are manufactured in sweatshops and industrial laboratories both. Where a Plasma Cartridge is made will affect its quality.

This guide will provide everything you need to know to appraise the value of any Plasma Cartridge.

There are four common manufacturers on the Station:

  • Wild’s Rides (“WLD”),
  • Republic Naval Requisition (“RNR”),
  • ZhongHua Shipbuilding (“ZHS”),
  • Ignition Lab (“IGN”)

Regardless of manufacturer or current condition, Plasma Cartridges have a base value of 100 Credits, and a minimum value of 30 Credits.

Plasma Color

The color of the plasma is the biggest indicator of quality.
Any color not Standard or High-Grade is regarded as Low-Grade.

The original standard-plasma example has a dark-blue body with a bright cyan-blue core. The low-grade example is green to turquoise; the high-grade example is magenta to pink-purple. Other colors that match neither standard nor high grade count as low grade.
