Who is Georgio?

Georgio wearing a red jacket and carrying a backpack
Georgio, original in-game character artwork.

Georgio calls himself the greatest scavenger in the Lower Levels. He visits your shop with extravagant discoveries, addresses you as his friend and talks about himself in the third person.

His story follows his scavenging trips, questionable merchandise and plan to build a spaceship. He is also the visitor who brings discarded radioactive waste back to your counter.

The sections below include story spoilers, including his loan and return.

What does he bring to the shop?

Visit His pitch What is on the counter
First introduction Ancient alien relics Four pieces of Scrap Metal renamed as relics
His invention The water of tomorrow Four large bottles renamed 100% Pure Dehydrated Water
Cigarettes Genuine Heminwai at a special price Two packets with counterfeit inspection defects
Upper Levels salvage Everything at 25% off Birth-control pills, tampons, shampoo, toilet paper and toothpaste
A secret find Interesting goods from a secret location An evidence loot crate

His sales pitch is part of the character. Price the actual goods and inspect them before accepting a deal. The item catalogue helps identify ordinary stock and compare base values.

How should you inspect his cigarettes?

Check the packet before negotiating

Georgio’s cigarette visit includes counterfeit packets. Check the seal, logo and lettering in the inspection view, then raise the defects through the inspection responses. He has dialogue acknowledging problems and offering a lower price.

Follow the appraisal instructions for the inspection controls. A discount changes your purchase cost; judge the goods by what the inspection reveals.

Should you lend him money for the spaceship?

Georgio says his ship is nearly finished and asks for help buying the remaining materials. You can decline or choose a smaller or larger loan. In this Demo, those offers are one quarter or one half of your current cash. When your cash is non-negative, fractional credits are rounded down. Read the amounts displayed before choosing.

Accepting deducts that amount and gives you an I.O.U. and a Scavenger’s Token. Declining sends him back to looking for ship materials at the Dumping Grounds.

Scavenger's Token

Scavenger's Token

Place the token in a display case to increase the chance of Scavenger customers. It affects the customer group; it is not a button for summoning Georgio or collecting his debt.

Does he pay the loan back?

Yes, his story has a repayment visit that pays four times the amount lent in total. Lending 1,000 credits leads to a 4,000-credit repayment, including your original 1,000.

That visit requires an outstanding loan and more than 25 in-game days since lending. Rent timing also affects scheduling, so count on waiting rather than an exact arrival date. Reserve enough cash for rent and normal trading before funding the ship.

Why does he bring radioactive waste back?

Georgio thinks you forgot your belongings at the Dumping Grounds and brings the barrels back as a favor. This encounter follows discarded waste and is separate from his spaceship loan.

Let him finish the return, pack the barrels into the backpack selected for your outing, then take them to the Dumping Grounds again. Put each barrel directly on Ground and confirm that you are leaving it behind. See the radioactive waste guide for the transport steps and space requirements.

Why does Security arrest him?

Several visits include an arrest branch. During the Upper Levels visit, Security accuses him of breaking into a women’s bathhouse. The secret-find encounter refers to repeated break-ins at the evidence room. These lines explain his goods and running troubles with Security; buying his stock does not require arresting him.

For your own stolen or prohibited inventory, use the crime and hiding guide.

These encounters and loan amounts apply to Demo 049-Rev5-L. Endless Mode skips the normal character-story scheduler. Other versions and Mods may change the sequence.

Georgio is the scavenger who borrows from you. The corporate waste manager pays you to take barrels; the salvage ship pilot is another customer. Keeping those roles separate helps identify which encounter you are seeing.
