This Wiki records thirteen career definitions. The unmodified Demo 049-Rev5-L allows Apprentice, Water Merchant, Rat Wrangler and Rock Bottom. The starting guide compares original and Mod starts; each locked career entry explains its availability.

Where can you learn a first business?

  • Apprentice starts ordinary trading with extra cash, a storage bay, household goods and food. Learn inspection, buying and working cash.
  • Water Merchant brings the water manual, testing and treatment supplies, and containers. Test, purify and sell water using the water guide.
  • Rat Wrangler brings cages, rats and feed. Feed, breed and sell meat using the rat guide.
  • Ordinary berry winemaking uses berries, water, yeast and fermentation containers. The Retired Winemaker referral adds it to a running shop. Follow the wine guide.

Rock Bottom is a challenge start without equipment benefits. Use the beginner trading routine to build working cash. The money-making overview helps compare the daily work before choosing a business.

What do the other production routes involve?

  • Junker brings scavenging tools, a furnace and higher Scavenger reputation. Recover goods, dismantle parts and turn scrap or ore into ingots with the smelting guide.
  • Hydroponic Farmer brings a system, manual, seeds and supplies, with higher initial rent. Maintain water, power and nutrients, then harvest crops. See the hydroponics Wiki.
  • Chemist brings a manual and laboratory equipment. Move ingredients through the processing machines. See the chemistry Wiki.
  • Gunsmith brings a Class 1 Weapon Permit, weapons, mods and ammunition. Learn buying, dismantling, refurbishment and modification in the gunsmith guide.

Water can supply farming, and crops can supply wine or chemistry. Decide what your main product will be before buying supporting equipment so you can plan stock and replenishment.

How does the Fence route work?

Black Lamp

Black Lamp

The Fence definition includes hidden storage, contraband stock, higher Black Market reputation and Janitor Underground Exchange access. It also lowers Security reputation and raises initial rent.

Plan incoming stock, storage and outgoing trades separately. The Black Lamp attracts thief suppliers, hidden storage holds risky goods, and the underground exchange trades requested items. The existing crime and storage guide now includes the supply and exchange steps.

Is Moonshiner the same as berry winemaking?

Moonshiner covers illicit alcohol trading, identification and brewing, with a manual and brewing kit in its starting definition. The existing moonshine process uses Synthetic Yeast and water in a Wine Bottle to make GloomBerry Wine.

Ordinary BloomBerry Wine ingredients and quality remain in the berry winemaking guide. Joe Wild’s Retired Winemaker referral supplies ordinary yeast and berry-wine equipment. The two topics connect through bottles and referrals.

What about Pharmacist, Street Food Vendor and Organ Dealer?

Medical Supplies (Common)

Medical Supplies (Common)

Pharmacist is defined around medicine sales, treating sick customers and synthesizing medicine. Its resources include a medicine-trading manual, first-aid manual and medical stock. The Upper Level Pharmacist referral introduces a supplier for business-card phone orders.

Street Food Vendor makes quick Lower Levels meals. Its resources list a cooking manual, stove and ingredients.

Organ Dealer trades organs, distinguishing certified legal stock from illegal sources. Its resources include an organ-trading manual, refrigerated storage and a transfusion kit.

These three starts are disabled in the current Demo, and the available material does not provide complete treatment, cooking or organ-processing instructions. This section records their roles and equipment. Identify existing medical goods in the item catalogue and use the beginner checks when trading them.
