Who are they?
The Appraiser Board recruits shopkeepers to provide appraisal services. A member can invite you to join, offer a later visit or accept your refusal.
Visits and shopkeeping
Choosing to join deducts the quoted membership fee and gives training materials, an appraisal guide, a 
magnifier and a 
Junior Appraiser Certificate. The Board then refers appraisal customers; later tests and certification visits are separate encounters. Membership costs 85 Credits on normal difficulty or 170 on hard.
Place the Junior Certificate in the showcase to influence ordinary appraisal-customer slots. Prepare the relevant handbooks and tools: the service is valuing the customer’s item, rather than simply buying stock.
