Which Labeler do you need?
| Tool | Use it for | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Giving an item a custom name | A text-entry window | |
| Editing supported product labels | A list of categories with dropdown options |
For example, use blue to distinguish two water containers or mark breeding stock. Use red when you want to change the quality or authenticity claimed on a supported item’s label.
Where do you get them, and how do you use a tool?
Visit Dr. Jackson’s shop after closing your own shop. His stock includes each Labeler model while you do not already own that model.
Buy the tool and the item you want to edit. Drag the Labeler onto that item to open its editing window. For repeated use, put it in a numbered
Toolbox slot and equip it with the matching number key. The Toolbox guide explains storing, equipping and putting tools away.
How do you rename an item with the Blue Labeler?
- Apply the Blue Labeler to the item you own.
- Click the text field and enter a useful name, such as “Water to test” or “Breeding pair”.
- Finish editing the field, then close the panel.
- Hover over the item to check its new displayed name. An open container window also updates its title.

To restore the default name, apply the Blue Labeler again, delete the text and finish editing the empty field. This removes the custom name rather than making you type the original item name yourself.
How do you edit product labels with the red Labeler?
Inspect the goods first so you know what the label should say. For water, use a
Water Testing Strip or
AquaScan as explained in the water guide.
- Apply the red Labeler to a supported item you own.
- Find the category you want to change and choose an option from its dropdown.
- Close the panel, then inspect the item’s labeled details to check the result.
The available rows depend on the item. Demo050 excludes equipment condition, ingot purity and wine quality from editable labels. Changing a label changes the declared condition, while the item’s real condition remains available to inspection. Relabeling water therefore does not purify it.

What does Repeat do?
Closing the red Labeler’s panel saves its current label choices. On another item with a matching label category, Repeat applies the saved choices to that item’s matching categories. It is useful when you want to reuse the same settings without choosing every dropdown again.
For several items, apply the tool and use Repeat on each one.
Why do buyers still spot mislabeled goods?
A buyer may inspect the goods as soon as you put them on the counter. Use the buyer-inspection guide to compare water, cigarette, Immunivax and chemical checks, special customers and the reputation consequences.
What should you check when an edit does not appear?
- You see dropdowns instead of a name field: put away the red tool and select the Blue Labeler.
- Only some red-label rows appear: use the rows this item provides. Check the exclusions in the product-label section before trying another tool.
- A typed name has not updated: finish editing the text field, close the panel and hover over the same item again.
