Aquafarmer starts with two recirculating systems, an adult Tilapia pair and fertilized roe. You raise fish for meat while preserving breeding stock. The equipment is supplied, but its water tanks still need filling.

Starting conditions

Cash and rent below are before starting traits. Savings adds 150 credits afterwards, including with Rock Bottom. Specialization, traits and difficulty are selected separately.

The table lists specialization-specific supplies. See shared introduction items for the extra tools and documents.

Starting the first production cycle

  1. Open both systems. Each already has a water tank and a 50 kJ battery; pour the supplied Ghost Water into the empty tanks before adding fish.
  2. Load Industrial Fish Feed in the feeding area and check that the system can dispense it. Keep feed available for the growing fish.
  3. Keep the adult male and female as breeding stock. Put the fertilized roe in a system with room for the hatchlings; check space before adding more fish.
  4. Before closing, check water, charge, food and fish health. Inspect them again the next morning and replenish whichever supply is running low.
  5. Choose fish for meat only after retaining breeding stock. Follow the fish’s current growth stage and health rather than a fixed number of nights.

Supplies and further development

Aquaculture is already unlocked for this specialization. The retired supplier provides ongoing fish and equipment; the mid-run introductory kit differs from this start. The fish-farming guide explains the system’s six areas, filters, food, growth, breeding and harvesting. Return to Joe Wild’s network when planning more suppliers or an additional trade.
