Eleanor’s arrival and early visits

Story spoilers follow. Eleanor begins as an Upper Levels customer; her mother’s prosecution leaves her without money. This scheduled storyline is disabled in Endless mode.

Eleanor during her early visits

Day Visit and action
23 Buys food, budget 300.
25 Buys household goods, budget 200.
27 Sells premium supplies after losing her funds.
28 Her supposed uncle offers a free luxury supply crate.
29 normally Eleanor asks for free food. Complete a zero-credit trade in food, treats or drinks to help her.
Two days after the food visit If helped and not arrested, she returns with scavenged goods.

Handle the crate before helping her

The luxury crate is a trap. During her food visit and following scavenger visit, putting an owned luxury supply crate on either counter triggers a report that can arrest Eleanor and end her later story. Keep the crate off both counters when she is present. Alternatively, report the supposed uncle after his crate offer makes him arrestable. This exposes him and changes her schedule.

After reporting him, her warning visit starts from day 29. Choose one free reward: a mini purifier with 75 durability or pheromone perfume with three uses. The food visit moves to three days after that warning, and the scavenger visit to two days after the food visit. Thus reporting him delays later visits; it does not remove the opportunity to help.

Fund the investigation

Four days after the first scavenger visit, a helped, unarrested Eleanor explains her plan. From this stage, money you actually pay for her scavenged goods accumulates toward 800 credits. If short, she returns every four days. Buying from earlier unrelated sellers does not contribute. After reaching 800, wait four days for the research-data visit, one more for a threat, then one more for the decision.

Compare the two decisions

Decision Immediate and later outcome
Return the data to save her mother Receive 300 credits. Her mother survives in the Lower Levels.
Leak it to the Lower Levels newspaper The next morning brings the news and frees Nutrifruit seeds to reproduce; her mother is killed and Eleanor joins the Revolution.

Two days after the choice, both routes give a second-hand, self-refilling neuroactive perfume. The Revolution route also has her buy weapons with a 350-credit budget. Choose according to the story outcome and the seed change; the perfume is available on both routes. Plant genetics explains the seed mechanics; reporting covers ordinary arrests.
