Run the first print
Unlock Joe Wild’s retired gunsmith network, then buy a printer, chips and supplies from that supplier. Some advanced stock is random; higher weapon permits improve selected metal-chip and module chances. Jackson’s general machine stock is another place to inspect.
- Open the printer. Put a charged power source in Power, a blueprint in Chip and the exact materials in Input.
- Install the required Metal Printing Module, and CNC where listed. These go in Module, not the chip slot.
- Clear Output, end the day and check progress the next morning. Bare speed is 24 progress per night and working demand is 8 kJ. A 50-progress pistol takes three working nights without bonuses.
- Take the finished items. The chip is unlocked for reuse; materials are consumed when the job starts. You cannot change the locked chip or modules mid-job.

P = printer plastic; S = Scrap Metal; E = Common Electronic Parts; I = Metal Ingot; M = Metal Printing Module. Nights assume no bonuses and uninterrupted power. The chip’s ×number is the batch output, not extra ingredients.

Select upgrades and inspect the result
Efficiency changes electricity demand; performance changes print speed. Quality affects supported weapon/frame results, not every printed object. Each Melee Batch Module adds one weapon only to melee recipes, while lowering efficiency and performance by 50. CNC lowers both by 25 and requires Metal Printing alongside it.
The gun-parts recipe yields 2/3/3/4/4/5 parts for Very Low/Low/Fair/High/Very High/Perfect ingot purity. Check the ingot before loading it. A missing product usually means wrong materials, absent required modules, insufficient power or no output space. RDS means red-dot sight: the RDS× 2 chip makes two, using 3 Scrap Metal and 1 electronic part.
