Chemical supplies and ingredients

Chemical Supplies are ingredient packs. Prepare a liquid container and testing tools as well. A Composition Spectrometer identifies ingredients in containers and products.

Coffee Beans and Caffeine Pill

Blending, heating, evaporation and forming turn Coffee Beans into Caffeine Pills. The example below follows one batch between machines.

Chemical Equipment Module

This upgrades the Blender, Heating Plate and Chem Finisher. Removing an installed module requires a Module Extractor, so choose the machine you need to improve first.

How do I make the first Caffeine Pills?

Keep one batch in the same liquid container. Finish each stage before moving that container to the next machine. Prepare Coffee Beans, the container, an Energy Cell for the Evaporator and a Composition Spectrometer.

1. Attach the liquid container to the Blender, add Coffee Beans and blend them into mush.
2. Move that container to the Heating Plate. The game manual recommends alcohol at three to six times the mush volume, then heating to at least 80°C.
3. To remove large particles, filter with Kotton Fabric. Put the container in the Evaporator and fit an Energy Cell.
4. Close for the night. Check the container the following day and move it to the Chem Finisher once all water and alcohol have evaporated.
5. Select the Caffeine Pill recipe and press Output. Test the pills’ composition and purity before pricing them.

What should I check if production or purity is poor?

Upgrade the machine responsible for the problem. The Blender improves extraction yield. The Heating Plate improves maximum temperature, control and speed. The Chem Finisher reduces impurities added during processing. The Evaporator uses normal modules; the other machines listed here use Chemical Equipment Modules.
