What does this career do?

Apprentice builds the shop through ordinary buying and selling. Household goods and food give you stock to practise with, while the Storage Bay helps organise goods for later sales.

Storage Bay

Use the Storage Bay to hold stock and free shop space. Put the relevant goods in the Display Case when you want to attract buyers.

Starting food: sell the stock you already have

Two Peat and one Puice are ready to trade. Put food in the Display Case when you want customers shopping for food.

Toothpaste and toilet paper: household stock

You start with two of each. Sort food and household stock, then display the category you want to sell that day.

Magnifying Glass: inspect before buying

Once you obtain one, use it on items marked as inspectable. Find a clear fault, choose the matching reason in the inspection tray, then press Confront.

How do you run the first trading cycle?

1. Check the next rent amount and date, and set that cash aside.
2. Stock the Display Case from your starting goods to attract the buyer category you want.
3. When a seller visits, inspect the item and container contents, then compare the quote with your budget.
4. Buy stock you have space for and a plan to sell. Restock after sales so cash keeps circulating.

The starting Display Case attracts one buyer each day; upgrades increase that number. The category and total value of displayed stock affect who visits. See the beginner guide for display choices and counterfeit examples.
